My family has been going to Sola Bella for years. It is a wonderful place. The food is delicious!!!!!
Always a staple and go to for Italian pizza and dishes. The calamari was hot and crispy. The service was wonderful! The pizza always comes out fresh, hot and crispy. The ambiance was good not crowded not noisy just right. My dad, my sister, and niece joined us for a delightful meal! The desserts and cappuccinos were also excellent! We had the napoleans and apple tart! A must to end the meal! I highly recommend!
Had dinner with friends recently, since moving from Jackson to Florida 4 yrs ago. Always enjoyed our dinners here, as food is very good. Everyone enjoyed our meal, service was good but our server would not give us separate checks, which I do not understand. In Florida it's never a problem for getting separate checks when you eat out at a restaurant. Here the other night our server told us she could only do 2 checks, not three. We also felt like we were being rushed to leave and we weren't there very long. In this day and age, people don't want to have to split bill when 5 people are involved. Especially seniors on a fixed budget. This r estaurant should rethink their separate check policy.
The food was tasty and plentiful. I had the eggplant parmigiana. I asked it to be "heat" hot. When it came out, it was more like room temperature. I needed to send it back. Everyone else's food was fine. They don't have a kids menu, so we needed to navigate choices for the 2. The waiter and server were good. They knew exactly who ordered what. The inside of the restaurant appeared to be clean and the outside dining looked nice but overlooks and is next to the parking lot, but done nicely
Came here for a girls night. I literally live 2 mins away from here for the last 5yrs and never got to come here till tonight.. Just an FYI - we came here in a Wednesday around 6pm and it was ridiculously packed!!! Grace, who works at the front advised us to come after 7 so there is no wait time. One you walk in you are greeted kindly. The main area is a bit small so be prepared to stand. We waited for about 20 mins before getting seated. Solo Bella had an extensive menu. So, instead of going through it. We decided to take on the special which a 3 course dinner for 15 bucks! First off , you are served bread with olive oil - this was great and I love the addition of chopped olives in the oil! I order the salad, chicken parm, and cannoli. Our waitress was nice and got our orders to us fast. I wish she took our previous dishes away before serving us our different courses. I also wish she refilled our waters instead of us having to ask. As for our food, the salad tasted great, and fresh. The chicken parm was very good! The sauce had a lot of flavor and the chicken was cheesy and juicy! The cannoli was nice and crispy, and it tasted fresh. It wasn' t too sweet either, which I appreciate. Solo Bella is BYOB, we totally forgot to bring our own bottle! Also, bring cash! I think you can use a card but they charge extra when you use a card.
After our visit to Six Flags Safari we stopped by Solo Bella for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff, delicious food, great ambiance and reasonable prices. I had the Penne a la vodka and my wife had the chicken Parmesan with spaghetti. They were both delicious and we had to take some home because the portions are big. They serve a complimentary garlic break with olive paste which is also delicious. Luckily we skipped the appetizers! I will definitely be back!
Perfect 5 Star Eatery ..Food was excellent..Great Service..Fair Prices....We started with the House Salad which was enough for 3 or 4...I had the Shrimp Francese it was wonderful and enough to take home for another next day meal..for desert the Tortufo was top notch..to top it off an excellent cappuccino. We'll definitely be back.
Still questioning how this place only has 3.5 stars when it's a 5/5 all across the board. If I could give it more stars I would. This restaurant is worthy of being GOD'S FOOD. Let's start with the freshest bread you will ever have in your life - I'm talking about bread that is so piping hot that it will hurt your fingers when you touch it (and that's in a good way). The olive oil is immersed with olives giving it a unique touch. The spinach artichoke dip is the freshest I've ever had - so light not like others; I could literally eat this dip alone as a main course. For the main course we had vodka pizza with extra basil and eggplant rolatini with penne vodka pasta as a side. If you haven't gotten the gist of my post at this point idk guys - bottom line the food is amazing. The ambiance is homely and loving and the service is phenomenal. They always check in on you to ask you if you need anything. The only thing is that the food does take a little bit of time to come out, but honestly I would wait for hours for this food. Just BYOB and ENJOY. If you don't come here you are MISSING OUT.
So we visited Solo Bella for much needed dinner date. I been coming to this location for many years and you must know 2 things about this place. It's very loud. There are a lot of big parties. Make sure if you are just 2 or 3 people to make a reservation. I always enjoy the fresh bread with oil. We ordered there special salad. I love the saltiness to the dressing. Our main meals came from the specials. These specials seem to be the same ones from months ago because I ordered the same thing. The steak comes with thick bacon, mushrooms and a barbecue sauce. I asked for medium rare and when I cut in the thickest part, white lines in the steak. So rare. They had to take it back and when I cut it again, it was perfect. The flavor and the taste is very good. I enjoy the meal. My wife's meal was a lobster bisque sauce with seafood and pasta. She enjoyed it and having a soup as a sauce is a nice idea. Overall, I enjoyed Solo Bella but it's not a location I will go to every month. If you want the pizza, just order out. Try to request the small room for a small party. Also, order your steak medium. I was that upset over it. I should just play it safe.
